Dressing in a suit turns me into a drooling Anglophile.
The British self-image is so much more pleasing than the American one. Despite the enduring importance of class in their society, the British self-deprecation always makes them seem more inclusive than Americans. The American insistence on confidence and certainty brings success but not charm.
